Description

(3-15) Snakeden Branch stream will be stocked with hundreds of Rainbow Trout, and all equipment, including fishing rods, will be provided to make the day a success. Volunteers will teach your children how to bait, cast, hook and cook their freshly caught dinner. Trout Unlimited members will help clean the fish they catch. Please wear shoes that can get wet and muddy--no sandals.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults may not fish during the event. Adults and teens over 16 years old, who are helping, must have a Virginia State Fishing License (freshwater only), available online at www.dgif.state.va.us. Volunteers with fishing experience are needed. Contact habrock@reston.org if you can help.
